We are proud to be part of the parish of St. Anthony of Padua and we work closely with Fr. Andrew and the catechists in order to support the spiritual development of our pupils.
Each week, a class joins with parishioners for Mass on Tuesday morning. We also have whole school Masses at the start and end of each term and on Holy Days of obligation.
Fr Andrew is a regular visitor into school; he visits a class each week for a 'chat' and to answer the children's questions.
Every year, Fr. Andrew and the catechists run a programme for children Year 4 or above to prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
Our Mini- Vinnies group (junior branch of the SVP) regularly host coffee mornings after the Sunday 9.30am Mass. They were proud to raise funds to provide a cabinet for the school defibrillator so that it can be used more widely by the parish and wider community. It has been registered on 'The Circuit' (a register of defibrillators) for members of our community.
